Queen Creek, Arizona Landmarks and City Attractions
Queen Creek Az, is beautiful city in the heart of Arizona. First known for a mining town with lots of farming was founded in 1989. This city has grown into a hub of intellectual growth. Before the town was named Queen Creek, it went by a different name. Rittenhouse was its first know name, because of the railroad spur located near Rittenhouse and Ellsworth. Crazy enough is that peole used to flag down this train to get a ride into Phoenix. When the town began to grown and the train became a lesser means of transportation, the town changed its name to Queen Creek.
The city houses more than 60,000 people. This has added to the rich culture. First known for its farming of corn, cotton and potatoes. These were farmed along the Queen Creek Wash. Now known for its shops and hometown feel.
